I currently study the distant host galaxies of long-duration gamma-ray bursts, though my interests encompass everything under the Sun - and beyond. An avid amateur astronomer, I've built my own radio and optical telescopes. When not at my desk, I can be found stargazing, writing  
poetry, singing baritone or dishing up delicious Indian food.
